Cup of Life: “Unraveling you” with Emovimento – Choreo

Hello my Strawberry Shortcakes!!

I haven’t posted much on my “Unraveling you” project, because we’ve missed a week and then had to catch up. While the intro classes were done, we were now focused on the choreo. It came together with bits and pieces of each choreo, that we did individually. Our teacher Elisheba did a wonderful job combining the different parts into a very harmonious dance.

I’ve shown you a very small piece of my dance last time. So this time around, I’ll show you the little choreo that I had prepared for this dance. I do intend to finish it though!

I’m very excited to show you the end results, but you’ll have to wait until after Saturday. I’m very happy with how it all turned out. I’ve also been able to see myself from different angles (seeing vids of yourself is very confronting, let me tell you that!) allowing me to change certain little handmoves I did unknowingly :p. At the end of the lesson, we were allowed to receive everyone’s tips and compliments, which is so heart warming! I think that on a technical level I’ve learned so much and it’s nice to get to know the other girls better. Within a short period of time, we’ve received the tools to further develop our skills and explore our styles.

There’s nothing more satisfying than dancing and losing yourself in the music. But to be absolutely honest, I AM DEFINITELY TIRED!!! I’ll won’t be counting sheep tonight, that’s for sure!
