Hi Loves,
I recently picked up this little blush trio from Rimmel, when I was using up my gift card that I got from my colleagues for my Birthday. This blush trio has been around for quite some time now. But I’ve never really been attracted to it. I don’t know, it must be something about the packaging. But because I got the gift card and I wanted to try to stay away from Essence and Catrice products (I feel like I’m reviewing these all the time), I thought why not pick something up from Rimmel. There were 2 blush trio’s available at my store, so I picked up the coral one.
The Packaging
It’s a long compact made from sturdy plastic. The lid is see through with pink gold framing, which is nice. There’s also the little signature from Kate Moss. On the back you get instructions for how to use this pallet, which I find very handy!
You get 3 broad pans with a highlighter, blush and contour. The pans are big enough so you can swirl your brush in it. There is no mirror, but it then allows you to see the product through the compact.
For 10,99€ you get Net Wt. 0.65 oz/18.5 g.
The Shades
When the shades are swatched, I’d say I’m not really impressed. The blush is barely even visible. Though the highlighter does swatch nice.
But on the face!!! It gives such a natural, but yet glamorous look! I’m definitely in love! Here on the left, I clearly haven’t applied anything yet, and on the right with blush, contour and highlighter! I love how these shades bring warmth to your face!!
Here’s the finished look!
The highlighter resembles the Essence Strobing powder. So I decided to compare the two:
The first upper shade is the Rimmel highlighter, which obviously is a lot more yellow based than the Essence one. It seems to have a little bit more sheen to it. But to be honest, on the face it looks very similar in texture, very natural and slightly reflecting.
It also stayed all day, even after dancing for 3 hours straight!
Overall, I love this pallet. I was really pleasantly surprised! It has been a long time since I’ve used a Rimmel London product! But this one is definitely worth it!!
I hope you enjoyed this post!! And I’ll talk to you guys soon!!
Love,
Sarah
Wat een mooie look heb je gemaakt!! Volgens mij is de blush echt een mooie kleur!! xo

I’m in love with your completed look!!!! I haven’t tried a yellow-y highlight yet but I bet it’d be nice on my skin tone since I am after all yellow 😉 The blush is definitely very gentle but sometimes I like that esp when I want to go with a more all-natural look but need just a hint of color, I think it’s great and you made it work nicely!!!

Thank you girl!!! Kudos!! I don’t often wear reds. But with the warmer weather I do feel like busting more color out!!! The blush is nice, but I don’t think it’s unique. I just love how easy it is. I think that cheap brands sometimes have the tendency to be overly pigmented which results in obvious pink dolly cheeks! I just love how naturally it looks! xoxo Sarah

Great review Sarah!!
I’m in love with the contour shade in this palette – I think it can be hard to apply if you have a heavy hand though because it can go patchy.. However, the Real Techniques buffer brush sorts it out so easily if it does go patchy!

Haha yes, you’re right. I just try to continue blending with my contour brush… But before I do apply contour, I slightly powder my face… thx for dropping by! xoxo Sarah

I like it! I might try to track it down in the store and hopefully they sell it here. I always prefer a highlighter, contour and blush in one as it’s so convenient I find. ❤

Thx for dropping by sweetie! I also like how convenient it is. If you like all in one products, the Urban Decay Naked Flushed pallets are also very pretty. Xoxo Sarah
